Rocky Mountains Area

The Rocky Mountains Region (a mountain range that extends for 8 states between the USA and Canada) usually includes the states of Colorado (where the highest peak is located) Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho, while the region commonly identified as the Great American West includes North Dakota and South Dakota (where the famous Mount Rushmore is located) in addition to Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming. By extension, very often those who travel to discover these areas also cross northeastern Utah, not coincidentally also touched by the Rocky Mountains. This section is dedicated to this immense and majestic territory.

At Colorado is dedicated a special subsection, meanwhile there is another section dedicated to all the other states of the region that are collectively referred to as the Great American West (which some also call the “Real America“). This is the land of cowboys and of the great highlands, where nature expresses its beauty with surreal colors and the historic Western towns still proudly preserve their heritage. In these vast regions dotted with ranches and framed by snowy peaks, there are some of the most precious gems of the United States (Yellowstone, for example) and many historical places that those who love the epic of the Old West can visit.

For your convenience, all the itineraries are divided into 2 subcategories. In the Great American West section, you will find the routes and the recommended attractions in Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, North and South Dakota. The other section is completely dedicated to Colorado.
