I am Flora Lufrano, and I have been collaborating with Travel in USA and Viaggi-USA for several years now, writing articles that bring me back with pleasure to places and memories in the United States, a land I love and where I lived for about a year during my adolescence. From that wonderful experience, my desire to travel, discover, and meticulously plan itineraries was born, only to be surprised by the unexpected events that make every trip even more exciting and memorable!
Attending a high school in Arkansas and living on a farm allowed me to appreciate the lesser-known and stereotypical side of America. Visiting the big cities, I then realized how many souls characterize the United States and how much beauty there is to discover.
In addition to the United States, I have lived for several months in Costa Rica (where my mother was born) and in Egypt, where I collaborated on a project with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Egyptian Ministry of Public Education to write Italian textbooks for use in public schools where they teach our wonderful language. Because, in addition to travel, I am passionate about words. I am a trainer of Italian language teachers, a teacher, a translator from English and Spanish, and an author of textbooks published by Garzanti, Guerra Editore, Study Pubs LCC, and Petrini Editore.
And as I prepare to embark on another journey with my wonderful family, I hope that the information contained in my articles will help you better plan your next adventure exploring the United States!
