Hello, I’m Ivan, and I’ve been a part of the Travel in USA editorial team for several years now.
I was born and raised in Milan (on the black and blue shores of the Naviglio, to be precise), and I still live and work in the same city. Although I’ve never desired to live elsewhere, I love to visit new places, both near and far, scattered around the world, usually with my wife. Preferring the “On the Road” mode of travel, the vast North American continent is more conducive to this than any other territory.
Thanks to my other great passion for cinematic art, I have traveled over 25,000 miles on the picturesque roads of the United States so far, inspired by the most iconic locations seen on the big and small screens. I enjoy planning itineraries based on popular film locations, intertwined with well-known attractions. My USA travels thus become alternative escapes guided by the scenic backgrounds featured in movies: mountains, buildings, lakes, skyscrapers, shops, deserts, museums, restaurants, and many other places whose appearances, borrowed by cinema, have over time become new attractions. I hope that the articles I write awaken interest in cinematic art, the joy of travel, and the unparalleled beauty of the USA.
I was born in 1979 and, with a degree in Food Science and Technology, I have been working for over fifteen years as a consultant in the field of sensory market research, serving some of the largest national and international companies in the food and beverage industry. In addition to my primary work and writing travel itineraries, I am also a lyricist for music. To date, I have collaborated on the creation of three albums: “Summer Dreaming” (2019), “Universe” (2021), and “California” (2023), lending my words to the music of Fabrizio Fargo, a prolific singer-songwriter, instrumentalist, and music producer.
