Lorenzo Puliti

Lorenzo Puliti, an expert and enthusiast of travel in the United States, is the owner of Evenit, a tourism network that manages the website travelinusa.us and other travel portals.

I’m Lorenzo Puliti, and I founded the Italian website Viaggi-USA in 2012. The project initially started as a personal blog to discuss the various trips to the United States I had taken for both pleasure and work. However, it naturally evolved into a much broader website open to other authors as well (see the complete editorial team).

My first passion has always been music, and it was precisely that passion that first brought me to the United States for my doctoral thesis on George Gershwin. I fondly remember the months spent conducting research at the Library of Congress in Washington, with the support of ICAMUS (The International Center for American Music). From there, the book on Rhapsody in Blue (Il caleidoscopio musicale di George Gershwin) was born, along with a strong desire to share the beauties I had seen in American land, thanks in part to the friends I met there in the field.

I had the opportunity to return to the States multiple times, including for a honeymoon, leisure trips, and other work-related occasions. On the internet, I created two editorial projects that better reflect my passions: Viaggi-USA and Good Vibration, a blog focusing on music insights. The first one grew rapidly, to the point where managing it on my own became impossible. So, I began involving my closest friends who shared my passion for the beauty of this country.

From this experience of work and friendship, Evenit was born, the company that manages, other tourism portals, Travel in USA, the English version of Viaggi-USA. Our goal is to help people plan tailor-made trips to discover the wonders of the United States of America. We hope to succeed in this endeavor…
